The midnight bug 27-Oct-14

There definitely must be something about the midnight hour that sparks a contemplative spirit. This hour always brings out the writer in me. I am sure though that my better half, who is peacefully sleeping next to me will not take this brazen disobedience of her commands quietly. I should be sleeping peacefully right now as per my lady-love and hence I apologise in advance for my mistake!

This is the beginning of a new adventure for me - one that excites and stimulates the brain cells and gets my creativity juices flowing again. As the ever daring explorer, I embark on this new journey without any trepidation or clue of the path ahead. The idea is to again get into a routine of sharing my thoughts, expectations and plans with my dear ones and get feedback, encouragement and motivation for my new Blog from dear ones.

Today we had a special visit by my dear friends Taruna & hubby Deepak along with Taruna's parents. They were accompanied by their darling angel, Harsh, whose bond with me grows stronger each time we meet. Harsh continues to be a shy, quiet boy but we share a special bond which defies all logic. We rarely meet or speak and yet we are the best of buddies.

I have always admired Uncle for his wonderful encouraging nature - he motivates me no end - even a few minutes in the company of this wonderful soul recharges me gives me a lot of inner strength and resolve. He is a man of few words but a world of wisdom.

Aunty has been ever cheerful and the joining glue who holds the family together. Taruna has the wonderful qualities of both parents blended into her personality.

I had already dreamt about this visit but the real experience trumps the imaginary meeting without any competition.

One special reason for this trip to India is to rediscover and replenish my roots in my birthplace. How blessed and fortunate am I to have such wonderful dear friends and family in both India as well as UK?

I INVITE YOU ALL TO JOIN ME IN THIS NEW JOURNEY OF SELF- DISCOVERY
